This unit features many broadcast monitor basics like a Blue Only Mode, Monochrome Mode, Markers, Safety Areas, H/V Delay, and Tally Lights. Like all Flanders Scientific monitors the LM-2461W also comes standard with advanced features like 12 Selectable Scopes, Focus Assist, Time Code Display, Freeze Frame Picture and Picture, Audio Disembedding, Audio Level Meters, Artifact Free Pixel Zoom, Adjustable Exposure Check, On-screen Alarms, and Advanced Pixel Level Measurement. Thanks to its ultra-wide gamut LCD Panel the LM-2461W has the unique ability to work in several different color spaces with an instantly selectable menu option. Choose between REC 709, SMPTE C, EBU, DCI-P3, or native Wide Gamut Mode. Color space management is handled by our advanced 64x64x64 Matrix 3D LUT Color Fidelity Engine ensuring a high degree of accuracy in any mode. Additional instantly selectable gamma, peak luminance, and color temperature presets add to the flexibility of this unit making it suitable for a wide variety of applications and environments.

The LM-2461W is equipped with 3Gbps SDI (SMPTE 425M-AB) inputs, which provide support of advanced formats including 4:4:4 RGB, 4:4:4 YCbCr, and 4:4:4 XYZ signals. With support of both Level A and Level B 3Gbps SDI the LM-2461W is compatible with virtually all 3Gbps SDI sources and provides many advanced viewing modes for multiplexed (2 x SMPTE 292M) Level B signals as explained here.

The LM-2461W comes with standard DC (24V) and AC (100~240 VAC) power connectors. For applications requiring battery powered operation of the monitor the LM-2461W is also available with optional AB or V-Mount battery plates. When ordered with one of these battery plate options the monitor is also converted from 24VDC to 12VDC allowing for support of standard AB or V-Mount batteries without requiring an external voltage adapter. At a default setting of 120cd/m2 the LM-2461W only draws approximately 50Watts of power making it one of the most power efficient full-featured color critical 24" video monitors available on the market. A 10amp rated battery is suggested for field applications requiring high luminance output, but a standard 6amp battery is more than sufficient for running the monitor near its default settings.

Every LM-2461W comes standard with a basic desktop stand, but can also be integrated with a wide variety of alternate stands and mounts, like our popular VESA to C-Stand Mount, using the 100mm VESA mounting points. The lightweight and extremely durable die-cast aluminum frame allows for easy mounting in any environment while providing long term durability.
