FSI's DCAA (Direct Connect Automatic Alignment) interface is a simple toolkit that plugs directly into any FSI monitor for fast and reliable display calibration. This DCAA toolkit consists of two basic pieces: FSI's C-5 Colorimeter and the DCAA connection box. The C-5 probe is simply placed in front of the panel and plugged into the DCAA connection box. The connection box is then plugged into the monitor. Next, you will simply select 'Start Display Alignment' from the monitor's main menu and the rest of the process is completely automated as the display undergoes our FPP (Full Panel Profiling) process.

Our FPP process stores all the necessary data in the monitor to allow for instant switching of gamma (1.0~2.8) and color temperature (3200K, 5600K, 6500K, 9300K) without having to realign the display for these various selections. The FPP process and DCAA kit are the same that are utilized in the factory on new displays so you can reproduce factory quality recalibration in your own facility.

The C-5 Colorimeter used as part of this DCAA kit is extremely accurate because every C-5 is calibrated with FSI's SR-1 Spectroradiometer specifically for use on FSI monitors. Many manufacturers simply rely on the default calibration information stored in a colorimeter, but this information is often based on a generic display or light source that may have significantly different characteristics than the displays being aligned. These differences between the benchmark display device and the device being calibrated can lead to significant measurement errors. FSI compensates for these differences by using our high-end display agnostic SR-1 Spectroradiometer to correctly calibrate the C-5 against FSI's own displays. This system allows the C-5 to deliver repeatable measurements from an FSI display with virtually no deviance/error compared to the SR1, but at a fraction of the cost of this higher-end color analyzer.

Our DCAA interface is easy to use and requires no computer or complicated setup so any user can quickly and accurately realign any FSI display.
