The FSI HD-GEN1 is one of the most affordable 3Gbps SDI Test Signal Generators on the market. This unit supports both Level A and Level B 3Gbps SDI output. Additionally, the HD-GEN1 can output Dual Link SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI, & DVI-D signals. The HD-GEN1 also features 16 channels of embedded audio on all SDI outputs as well as an optical SPDIF output for any pair of user selectable audio channels.

The HD-GEN1 comes with hundreds of standard patterns and allows users to create/import custom patterns. This unit also has the ability to interface with the FSI SR-1 for automated pattern generation and measurement. When coupled with the SR-1 a display can be completely profiled in a matter of minutes by pressing just one button.

The generator connects to your PC through a standard Ethernet connector and can be controlled either via the GUI or any standard web browser. The HD-GEN1 can be controlled from any computer on a shared network and comes with an IP address utility to allow you to configure the device settings for use on practically any network.
