Control your FSI monitor(s) wirelessly from your iPod Touch, iPhone, or iPad with this WiFi Receiver. This box plugs into the RS232 port of any FSI Monitor and allows you to remotely control the monitor from any iPod Touch, iPhone, or iPad with Wi-Fi capabilities. The App for remote control is free to download as is the basic remote control interface for control of a single FSI monitor. Up to 8 devices can control one WiFi receiver for no additional cost.
This kit includes the WiFi receiver, power supply for WiFi Receiver, and 3ft RS232 cable to connect WiFi Receiver and monitor.
To control more than one monitor from a single iPod Touch, iPhone, or iPad you will need to either purchase 1 Wi-Fi Receiver per monitor or connected all of your monitors physically via the RS485 ports on the back of the monitor. In either case a corresponding
customization license for the number of monitors you would like to control will be required.
Customized Layouts are typically completed within 24 to 72 hours depending on size and complexity. Customization not only allows you to control more than one monitor, but it allows you to assign a name to each monitor and specify any changes to the button layout of the basic control panel. All customized layouts are given a unique Sync Account ID and password so that you can wirelessly sync your customized control panels.
These WiFi Receivers are built to integrate into your existing wireless infrastructure allowing you to stay connected to your normal WiFi network. The receivers are not intended for Ad Hoc use (except for setup), but can be used this way if needed for environments where no Wi-Fi is currently present.
