The FSI (Flanders Scientific, Inc.) LM-2461W is a 24", 10bit,
Multi-Format LCD monitor with 3Gbps/HD/SD-SDI, Component (YPbPr/RGB),
Composite, & DVI-I Inputs. This unit comes with all of the standard
broadcast monitor features like Blue Only, MonoChrome, Markers, Safety
Areas, & Tally Lights and like all FSI monitors it also comes
standard with advanced features like our 12 Mode Scopes, Focus Assist,
Time Code Display, Freeze Frame Picture and Picture, Audio Disembedding,
and Audio Level Meter features.
Additionally, the LM-2461W features FSI's new adjustable onscreen alarm
indications for illegal (or user specified) IRE levels and will be
compatible with FSI's upcoming remote control and alarm monitoring
software.
The LM-2461W is ready for virtually any application
with instantly adjustable Gamma & Color Temperature Presets and true
Multi-Format support ranging from NTSC/PAL to HD and 2K. Additionally,
the LM-2461W comes standard with 3Gbps SDI Inputs (SMPTE 425M-AB) for
support of 1080p50/60 or 1080i 4:4:4 signals over a single Serial
Digital Interface. The LM-2461W is also capable of additional Level B
3Gbps SDI monitoring modes as explained
here.
Thanks
to its ultra-wide gamut LCD Panel the LM-2461W has the unique ability
to work in several different color spaces with an instantly selectable
menu option. Choose between REC 709, SMPTE C, EBU, DCI-P3, or native
Wide Gamut Mode. Color space management is handled by our advanced
64x64x64 Matrix 3D LUT Color Fidelity Engine. With performance and
features rivaling units priced twice as much, the LM-2461W is ready for
your most demanding and color critical video applications.
The LM-2461W is equally well suited for color critical edit suite and
field use environments with standard DC (24V) and AC (100~240 VAC) power
connectors. For applications requiring battery powered operation of the
monitor the LM-2461W is also available with optional AB or V-Mount
battery plates. When ordered with one of these battery plate options the
monitor is also converted from 24VDC to 12VDC allowing for support of
standard AB or V-Mount batteries without requiring an external voltage
adapter. At a default setting of 120cd/m
2 the
LM-2461W only draws approximately 50Watts of power, making it one of the
most power efficient full-featured color critical 24" video monitors
available on the market. A 10amp rated battery is suggested for field
applications requiring high luminance output, but a standard 6amp
battery is more than sufficient for running the monitor near its default
settings.
With Standard VESA Mounting capabilities the LM-2461W
is easy to mount for applications ranging from the edit suite to field
use. Every LM-2461W comes standard with a basic desktop stand, but can
also be integrated with a wide variety of alternate stands and mounts to
suit your application. The lightweight and extremely durable diecast
aluminum frame makes mounting in almost any environment quick and easy
while providing long term quality and reliability.
