Rental
Mandatory Rental Insurance
  Your rental must be insured against damage and/or loss.  Your rental order will not ship until it is properly insured.  There are three options for insuring your rental:

Certificate of Insurance:
You have the option to provide us with a certificate of insurance from your insurer that lists Flanders Scientific, Inc. as the loss payee and additionally insured.  Please submit your certificate of insurance to sales@flandersscientific.com or fax it to 678.804.1882.

Security Deposit:
You can waive traditional insurance coverage and personally guarantee your rental against damage or loss by providing a security deposit.  When using a credit/debit card for rental this security deposit amount will be authorized, but not charged to your card.  Your card will only be charged the full security deposit amount, in addition to any rental fees, if the unit is damaged or lost.  At our sole discretion we may charge only a portion of the security deposit amount to your card if we feel the unit is repairable.

Purchase Damage/Loss Protection:
You may purchase Damage/Loss Protection from FSI to cover your rental for potential loss of or damage to the rental item.  If you purchase this coverage FSI will cover the cost to fix or replace your damaged or stolen FSI rental item.  Our coverage does not provide any additional protection or right to compensation beyond the reimbursement of the unit's cost to FSI.  FSI is the only party entitled to any compensation under this protection plan. This coverage does not provide any additional protection for losses resulting from the malfunction, damage, loss, or theft of the rental item. If your rental item is stolen or lost you must submit a police report detailing the loss or theft of the rental item. The renter is responsible for the full retail value of the stolen or lost rental item if a police report cannot be produced. The fee for this coverage is not refundable and must be paid in full before your unit ships.
Payment
  Rentals may be paid for via Credit Card or Wire Transfer. Additionally, customers picking rental items up locally at our office in Suwanee, GA may pay for rentals in cash or with a local check (select PO as your payment method and type CASH or CHECK). Please note that if providing a security deposit credit card payments will be authorized for the full amount of your rental and the security deposit amount, but will only be debited the rental amount provided that the rental items are returned in the same condition they were sent out. All wire transfer payments must include any applicable security deposit charges. Security deposits paid via wire transfer, cash, or check will be refunded/returned to you within 2 weeks of return if items are returned in satisfactory condition.
Shipping & Rental Term
  Rental items ship out from FSI Monday through Friday only.  Orders for in stock rental items placed before 3pm ET M-F will ship out to you the same day.  Your 7 day rental term begins the day after your item leaves our store.  Rental items are due back to FSI by 5pm ET the day after your rental term is over.  You may select any available shipping method shown at checkout, but the shipping method selected will not change your due date as specified above.  Items due for return on a Saturday or Sunday may arrive at our office as late as Noon on the following Monday without penalty.  Items returned past their due date will be subject to an additional one week rental fee.
Territory
  FSI Broadcast Monitors are currently only available for rental within the United States. We do sell our equipment in over 140 countries and invite our international customers to browse our store for everyday great deals on FSI equipment.
